In another reality, a girl named Hatsune Miku programmed and coded to be an idol for the entertainment of others is created by a man who has the technology to bring whatever he creates into the real world, however, it can only be done one time. "The General" (as Hatsune only ever recalls to hear him as) sees this as an opportunity to gain financial success off of her voice even as a child as he sees her potential, but The General also happens to be involved in warfare as a occupation. Conflicted with what is realistic and should be prioritized, The General chooses to send Hatsune back into the virtual reality she originated from. Because of this, at such a young and innocent age, not only is Hatsune not able to grow as her own person, but also unable to achieve what she was created for in the first place. She does not get the opportunity to sing as a career. While short lived, she is separated from the only person she could consider a friend; Jerimiah. Being from a different reality, she has no concept of the world Jerimiah came from, as her only experience of it are from the little memories she shared with him. "TWORLDS" (pronounced "TWO WORLDS") is an attempt of communication that the both exchange in hopes that they can reunite and understand each other after a long separation, discussing both reality and emotional conflict.
