To think it started from twitter just 'cause of a work of art that would slowly build foundation.
Throughout it, I had a bit of self-esteem issues.
We stayed in touch, yet I still felt that l was missing you.
I learned not long after staring into space,
Giving you your space was important,
Had to face the fact that I couldn't escape
What mostly couldn't be controlled.
I don't work in security, I had insecurities.
As an observer, at times, I took some things to heart,
but the main issue was that we didn't know how to start with confrontation.
Our feelings were not clear, but we continued to steer
Yes some days were foggy, but most days were clear.
That is why we're here
Love is why we're here
Laughter's why we're here.
I am sensitive,
You are delicate,
We are near and dear, (1:39)
The end was what you feared.
Yet despite all of that,
including the minor setbacks,
We both still had our backs.
Understand the ups and downs were only what we lacked.
I think the most beautiful thing is that we're giving each other a new perspective.
Understanding each other can be a underrated trait within a lot of relationships,
Which explains why they break.
You already knew this, but we are never takin' breaks.
We are both observant, to an extent we might be crazy.
